Upgrading IBM Robotic Process Automation on Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform

If you installed a previous version of IBM Robotic Process Automation on Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform, you can now upgrade to the most recent version.

• Getting access to the new container images in an offline environment
  If you installed IBM RPA on an air-gapped environment, follow these steps to get the latest images. Otherwise, you can skip to the next step.

• Upgrading dependencies
  The IBM RPA server uses IBM MQ, Redis, and Cloud Pak foundational services to operate on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. Upgrade the server's dependencies before you install a new version.

• Upgrading the operator
  Install the new operator version.

• Preparing and applying the upgraded custom resource
  Apply the upgrade to the custom resources.

• Rolling back an upgrade
  Follow these steps if the upgrade failed or if you need to roll back to an older version.
