I can't access IBM RPA after changing Redis password

For IBM RPA on premises only: The IBM RPA configuration stores the Redis password with which the application connects to the Redis server.

If you change the Redis password in the Redis configuration file or environment over changing it in the IBM RPA Control Center first, the IBM RPA's API blocks any API request to it. It happens because the IBM RPA's API still stores and uses the old Redis password.

Procedure

To solve this issue see the following procedure:

  1. Return the old Redis password on the Redis configuration file or environment.
  2. Update the Redis password in the IBM RPA Control Center.
  3. Update the Redis password on the Redis configuration file or environment
