Post-installation configuration

After you install the IBM RPA server, you might need to change some settings in order for the server to work as intended.

• Configuring UMS
  After you install IBM RPA with the SSO authentication, you must configure the server to connect with your LDAP identity provider. Skip this if you have opted for the Default authentication method.

• Changing the database user roles
  To install IBM RPA, the database user should have special roles. After the installation, you can reduce the database roles for security concerns.

• Analyzing Server error logs
  Server error logs are useful to track the environment events. These logs are stored in the directory that you define on Storage, log, antivirus, and NLP information step during IBM Robotic Process Automation on premises server installation.
