About the migration to RBAC on IBM RPA

In 23.0.0, all offerings of IBM RPA operate in a role-based access control (RBAC). If you run a version prior to 21.0.2 and plan to migrate over to 23.0.0, the migration is automatic with no impact for you.

The Super administrator, Administrator, and User roles become obsolete roles. Users are assigned to obsolete teams with these obsolete roles. Nonetheless, you still can operate your IBM RPA environment based on the permissions that these roles have.

Furthermore, five new teams were created based on five new default roles to new deployments. You can migrate your users to the correct teams gradually. For more information, see Default roles and Default teams.
