Ask commands

Use the ask commands to send and receive messages on a chatbot.

Starting from IBM RPA 23.0.3, support for Interactive Voice Response (IVR) is removed for all commands from this category due to the removal of IVR. For more information, see Removed.

  • Bot Ask
    The bot asks and recognizes text as a generic user provided subject.

  • Bot Ask and Answer
    The bots asks a question and retrieves an answer from a knowledge base.

  • Bot Ask Boolean
    The bot asks a user a question and interprets the answer as "Yes" or "No".

  • Bot Ask Date
    The bot asks and recognizes dates in the text provided by the user.

  • Bot Ask Email
    The bot asks and recognizes email addresses in the text provided by the user.

  • Bot Ask Name
    The bot asks and recognizes names in the text provided by the user.

  • Bot Ask Named Entities
    The bot asks and recognizes named entities in the text provided by the user.

  • Bot Ask Number
    The bot asks and recognizes numbers in the text provided by the user.

  • Bot Ask Quantity
    The bot asks and recognizes quantities and units of measurement in the text provided by the user.

  • Bot Asks CNPJ
    The bot asks for a CPNJ (Brazilian legal entity identification number) number, recognizing the number in the entered text.

  • Bot Asks CPF
    The bot asks for a CPF (Brazilian individual taxpayer registry identification) number, recognizing it in the text provided by the user.

  • Bot Asks Currency
    The bot asks and recognizes a monetary or numeric value in the text provided by the user.

  • Bot Asks Offering List of Options
    The bot offers a list of options for the user to choose from.

  • Bot Asks Phone Number
    The bot asks and recognizes phone numbers in the text provided by the user.

  • Bot Asks Time
    The bot asks and recognizes time intervals in the text provided by the user.
