The PDF Viewer tool

The PDF Viewer tool promotes an ease way to view a PDF file while you develop a script with IBM RPA Studio.

With the PDF Viewer you can:

  • View the file, its thumbnails, and attachments.
  • Print PDF files.
  • Add highlights, strikethrough, underline, and stick notes.
  • Find information.

To view a PDF file in the PDF Viewer tool, you need to import the file to your script as an asset. From the IBM RPA Studio, go to Home > Edit, and click File to import the PDF file. For more information about assets, see Developing scripts: Assets.

After you imported the PDF file as an asset, go to the Assets pane, right-click the PDF asset, and click Edit as PDF.
