⚠ Attention: The status of the FIPS 140-2 module is set to Historical by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). For more information about the term Historical, see CMVP Historical Validation List 🡥. The FIPS-140 certificates and the documentation posted with them are now older than 5 years, and do not reflect the latest guidance on how the module can be used in FIPS mode. For more information, see SP800-131A Revision 1 Transitions 🡥. Federal Agencies are advised not to include Historical modules in new procurements. Agencies must assess the risk of where and how the modules on the validation list are used before they decide to continue to use them.
