Installing OpenShift Container Platform clusters

IBM RPA can include entitlement to use Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux® CoreOS (RHCOS), and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL). RHCOS is the only supported operating system for OpenShift Container Platform master node hosts. RHCOS and RHEL are both supported operating systems for OpenShift Container Platform worker node hosts, though RHCOS is the default. See Key concepts for Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform to learn more about it.

For more information about IBM RPA and OpenShift Container Platform compatibility, see Versioning reference.

For more information about frequently asked questions about entitlements, Red Hat software downloads, Red Hat account login IDs, and support, see IBM Cloud Pak solutions: Support for Red Hat Entitlement FAQ.

If you want your cluster to be FIPS compliant, see Enabling FIPS before you install the cluster. FIPS can't be enabled after you install the cluster.
