The following security measures apply to both the IBM RPA SaaS and IBM RPA on premises offerings.
The .NET and .NET 5 Frameworks, by Microsoft, provide a software environment for programs to run the .NET Runtime, also known as Common Language Runtime. This virtual machine component provides services, such as security, memory management, and exception handling.
The .NET Framework has the following security resources support:
- X509 Certificates that contain Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm
- Hardware security modules on SQL Server
- The
HttpListener
API for token binding - FIPS 186-3 DSA on X509 Certificates
- Persisted-key symmetric encryption
