Backup files to store script changes

IBM RPA Studio creates .wad files to store watch variables and lines of the script that contain breakpoints to assist in the debugging process. These binary files are stored in the same directory where your script is saved.

The .wad file is always updated while you're modifying your script to keep your last changes. Thus, if the IBM RPA Studio fails during script development, .wad files can act as backup files to quickly recover your work.

By default, .wad files are hidden in the Windows® Explorer. To see these files, enable the Show hidden files and folders in Windows® Explorer.
