-
Remove the IBM Robotic Process Automation software.
-
On the uninstaller, click Next.
-
After uninstalling, restart the machine to apply the changes.
-
To reinstall the client, refer to Installing the client by using the installer.
Important: During the reinstallation, do not enter license data to reuse the previous license.
Upgrading to version 21.0.3 or higher
Requirement:
You must have an older version of IBM RPA on premises client installed on the host machine.
Procedure:
To upgrade the client, run the IBM RPA client installer. If the installer identifies that the host machine has an older version of the IBM RPA on premises client installed, you get prompted to initiate the upgrade process.
During the upgrade process, you can't update previous configuration, but the installer prompts you to set optional configuration that were not set before and new features. The installer steps are the same as when installing the IBM RPA on premises client. Refer to the Installing the client by using the installer procedure to get guidance for any configuration prompt you get.
If you experience issues with upgrading, see Troubleshooting the IBM RPA on premises edition installation or contact IBM Support if you can't find your issue listed.
