Supported architecture
The supported architecture describes the architecture and cloud type that is supported by the operator.
Computer architecture required for the images
IBM RPA currently only supports 64-bit Intel/AMD x86 systems.
Operating system
- Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® CoreOS (required for the control plane machine)
- Red Hat® Enterprise Linux®
Important: You can install the SQL Server™ database on Microsoft Windows™ off-cluster.
Supported OpenShift versions

Each IBM RPA version has a different operator version. See the equivalent operator versions in Versioning reference.
Note:You can run Red Hat® OpenShift® Kubernetes Service on IBM Cloud (ROKS) and on Red Hat® OpenShift® Service on AWS (ROSA). Keep in mind that IBM Cloud supports higher versions of Red Hat®
OpenShift®. You must comply with the preceding table.
