Validating the installation

Learn how to validate if IBM RPA on Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform client was installed successfully.

Procedure

You can use the following procedures to validate the installation:

Checking whether the computer was created

  1. Log in to the IBM RPA Control Center.
  2. Click the Computers page under the Define menu.
  3. Search for the computer's name. If you use an IBM RPA client version prior to 21.0.2, search for the computer's hostname.
  4. If you cannot find the computer, see Procedure for creating a computer and Installing the certificate manually.

Checking the IBM Robotic Process Automation Agent service

  1. Open the Windows Task Manager.
  2. On the Services tab, search for IBM Robotic Process Automation Agent.
  3. Choose the action as needed:
    • If the service is running, right-click on it and select Restart.
    • If the service is not running, right-click on it and select Start.
