The recorder highlights in red but does not map the control

Before you begin

• The following procedure only works for Java™ versions before 1.8.
• The following procedure works only for IBM RPA versions before 20.12.5.
• Create an Oracle account. See the Oracle Java™ documentation for more details.

Procedure

1. Install Java Runtime Environment™ . The JRE architecture must match the architecture of the operating system (32 or 64 bits).
2. Click Control panel (see large icons) > Ease of access center > Make the computer easier to see > Other installed programs > Enable Java Access Bridge.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Open IBM RPA Studio and try again.
