Annotate unreferenced definitions

Enable the annotate unreferenced definitions preference to easily find unused definitions in your ILE RPG code.

About this task

To turn on the preference, click Window > Preferences > Remote Systems > Remote Systems LPEX Editor > IBM i Parsers > ILE RPG and click Annotate unreferenced definitions.

After loading a source member, identify unreferenced definitions by lines that are marked with the i annotation icon or by definitions that are underlined. Place your cursor over the annotation icon or the underlined definition to display additional text about the definition.
