Unexpected disconnect from the server

If the product looses the connection to the server, when attempting to push source changes to the server, the update to the source member on the server may fail resulting in loss of source code on the server.

Maintain the server connection by decreasing the amount of time that TCP on the server waits before sending out a probe to the client. This can be done with the CHGTCPA TCPKEEPALV command on the server. The default value for TCPKEEPALV is 120 minutes. Set TCPKEEPALV to probe more frequently. For example, to set the probe to 15 minutes, use the command CHGTCPA TCPKEEPALV(15).
