Starting the launchpad
About this task
- If you are installing from the disks:
- Insert the Setup disk into your disk drive.
- Mount the disk drive.
- If autorun is enabled on your computer, the launchpad program
starts automatically. If the launchpad does not start automatically,
complete one of these steps:
- : Run launchpad.exe, which is
located in the root directory of the disk.Important: If your operating system is Windows 7, then you must run launchpad.exe as administrator.
- : Run launchpad.sh, which is located in the root directory of the disk.
- : Run install.app, which is located in the InstallerImage_macosx_cocoa_x86 directory or the InstallerImage_macosx_cocoa_x86_64 directory of the disk.
- : Run launchpad.exe, which is
located in the root directory of the disk.
- If you are installing from electronic disks downloaded from IBM
Passport Advantage, open a command line and change to the directory
where you extracted the disk images, and then do one of the following
things:
- : Run RSA_SETUP\launchpad.exe or RSA4WS_SETUP\launchpad.exe.Important: If your operating system is Windows 7, then you must run launchpad.exe as administrator.
- : Run RSA_SETUP/launchpad.sh or RSA4WS_SETUP/launchpad.sh.
- : Run RSA_SETUP/InstallerImage_macosx_cocoa_x86/userinst.app or RSA4WS_SETUP/InstallerImage_macosx_cocoa_x86/userinst.app / RSA_SETUP/InstallerImage_macosx_cocoa_x86_64/userinst.app or RSA4WS_SETUP/InstallerImage_macosx_cocoa_x86_64/userinst.app.
- : Run RSA_SETUP\launchpad.exe or RSA4WS_SETUP\launchpad.exe.
