User interface layout
The User interface consists of an Action Panel and a Dialog
Panel that changes when you click an Action Panel link. Any time you
log on, you see a home page, which contains a left navigation pane
and a pane for a user-defined report.
- Action Panel - top row in the window, where you start any operation (for example, Queries).
- Dialog Panel - remaining portion of the window. This section is where dialog boxes and the results of most operations are displayed.
You can design or use multiple home pages distributed to you, and you can select one to be the default login page.
