Upgrading from 1.1.4

If your current installed version is 1.1.4, you can upgrade it by running a script that dynamically retrieves the required images from an accessible image registry and upgrades the remote worker.

You can upgrade from 1.1.4 on connected or air-gapped Kubernetes clusters.

If your cluster is connected to the internet, the images are downloaded from IBM® Container Registry during the upgrade.

If your cluster is air-gapped (disconnected), you must use a private container registry as the image source. After you mirror the required images from IBM Container Registry to the private registry, you specify the private registry as the image source when you upgrade.

You can also upgrade remote workers by following similar procedures for connected and air-gapped clusters.
