Installing IBM License Service

To track, measure, and report information about license usage for your IBM® Rapid Infrastructure Automation® instance, you can install the IBM License Service tool.

About this task

IBM License Service is a tool that you can use to monitor and measure the license usage of IBM products, such as IBM Rapid Infrastructure Automation®, by collecting license metrics. You install IBM License Service on the Kubernetes cluster where IBM Rapid Infrastructure Automation® is installed. After you install IBM License Service, you add configuration to ensure that it can access the IBM Rapid Infrastructure Automation® license metrics.
