Saving a snapshot of JSF trace data

You can save a snapshot of your JSF trace data and view previously saved snapshots.

Before you begin

Procedure

  1. To save a snapshot of trace data, in the JSF Trace view, click the View menu icon View menu icon and select Save snapshot.
  2. Type a file name and save the XML file to a folder on your system.
  3. To retrieve a snapshot of trace data, click the View menu icon and select Load snapshot.
  4. Browse to the location where you previously saved your snapshot and select the XML file. Your trace data appears in the JSF Trace view.
