Exporting table data to a spreadsheet

You can export or copy the data for later use in a spreadsheet or word-processing document when you are on a page of the Rational® Asset Analyzer user interface that has tabular information.

• To export the contents of a table to a comma-separated value (.csv) file:
  1. Navigate to the page that contains the table of interest.
  2. Adjust the Show groups of: control to display the set of table results that you want to capture.
  3. Click the Export to CSV icon in the upper right corner of the table.
  4. Verify that the file named raa.csv is downloaded and contains the table results that you want.
  5. Import the comma-separated value (.csv) file into the spreadsheet or word-processing document.
  6. Verify that the imported content reveals the table results you want.
• To export the contents of a table to the clipboard:
  1. Navigate to the page that contains the table of interest.
  2. Adjust the Show groups of: control to display the set of results that you want to capture.
  3. Highlight the rows of interest and copy the selected data to the clipboard.
  4. Paste the clipboard contents into the spreadsheet or word-processing document.
  5. Verify that the pasted content reveals the table results you want.
