Installing IBM Quantum Safe Explorer on macOS

To install IBM Quantum Safe™ Explorer on a macOS device, complete the following steps:

1. Double-click the IBM Quantum Safe Explorer-1.0.1.pkg file downloaded to your macOS system.

2. The macOS installer for IBM Quantum Safe Explorer appears. Click the Continue button.

   

3. Select a destination where you want to install the software, and click the Continue button.

   

4. Click the Install button to initiate the IBM Quantum Safe Explorer installation.

   

5. The macOS installer directs you to enter your password to authorize the installation. Enter your system credentials and click the Install Software button.

   

6. "The installation was successful" confirmation message appears. Click the Close button to close the message window.

   

7. Click the QS Explorer desktop shortcut.

   

8. The "Software License Agreement" window appears. Read the license information and click the Accept button to accept the license agreement.

Note: The "Software License Agreement" window would appear only in the case of a new installation.

9. The "IBM Quantum Safe Explorer Application is starting" confirmation message appears.

   

10. The Status window appears. The "IBM Quantum Safe Explorer Service Started Successfully" confirmation message is displayed. Click the OK button.

11. The "Application is running" confirmation appears. IBM Quantum Safe Explorer is installed on your machine. You can now start using IBM Quantum Safe Explorer.

12. Click the Close icon to close the application.

13. The "Are you sure you want to close IBM Quantum Safe Explorer?" confirmation message appears. Click the OK button to close the application.
