Assigning data nodes to the warm storage tier

When a data node is added to a IBM QRadar deployment, it is assigned to the hot storage tier. After a data node is assigned to the warm tier, it cannot be reassigned to the hot tier.

Procedure

  1. On the navigation menu ( Navigation menu icon ), click Admin.
  2. In the System Configuration section, click System and License Management.
  3. In the Display list, select Systems.
  4. Right click on the Data Node row in the table, and click Change to Warm Storage.
  5. Click Okay and then click Okay once more.
  6. On the Admin tab, click Deploy Changes.
