Configuring data settings and Ariel settings

You can configure the number of data points to show on graphs, the chart intervals for graphs, Ariel search priority, and data retention for IBM® QRadar® Deployment Intelligence. You can enable sampling for Advanced Health Querying, to improve performance on the Advanced Health Querying page. To improve overall performance decrease the number in the Maximum data points to show on graphs field.

Procedure

  1. On the home page, click Configuration > Data Settings.
  2. Click the Chart Settings tab and then configure the following options:
    • Enable sampling for Advanced Health Querying
    • Data retention for all QDI database tables
    • Chart interval for all charts
  3. Click Save.
  4. To configure the Ariel settings, click the Ariel Settings tab.
    QRadar Deployment Intelligence runs searches by using the QRadar Ariel search API to retrieve health metrics data from QRadar. The searches are run every minute and the data is cached within the app for faster access.
  5. Configure the priority level for the Polling Process and Advanced Search options.
  6. Click Save.
