Resynchronizing data that was previously copied on the main site

To resynchronize data that was previously copied, run the script /opt/ibm/si/dr/bin/dr_clear_seal_files.sh on the main site.

Note: This command applies only to the host where the script was run, and that the earliest synchronization date is the same date that you originally configured the main site.

The following table provides the available usage parameters:

Parameter Description
-a

Clears all seal files on the system under /store/ariel.

Depending on Ariel copy settings, this parameter might cause large amounts of data to be recopied.

-d

Clears the seal file for a specific date.

Date must be in the YYYY/MM/dd format.

-s

Provides a start date for a date range to clear (must include an end date).

Date must be in the YYYY/MM/dd format.

-e

Provides an end date for a date range to clear (must include a start date).

Date must be in the YYYY/MM/dd format.

-l

Only lists files found matching other criteria.

No files are removed.
