QRadar Network Insights appliances
IBM QRadar Network Insights appliances connect to network TAPs, SPAN, or mirror ports to access full packet data for real-time analysis. All QRadar Network Insights appliances provide detailed analysis of network flows to extend the threat detection capabilities of QRadar.
To view specifications and cabling diagrams for your appliance, select the appliance type from
the following list:
- M7 appliances
- QRadar M6 appliances
- QRadar M5 appliances
- QRadar M4 appliances
Appliance IDs
When you install QRadar Network Insights, you
must specify the ID that matches the type of appliance that you want to install. The following table
shows the appliance IDs.

You can stack the QRadar Network Insights 1920 appliances (type 6200) to distribute network packet data across multiple Napatech cards. You cannot stack appliances in a QRadar Network Insights software installation.
