QRadar Operations app

Use the IBM® QRadar® Operations app to view user activities and their impact on the overall system. The QRadar Operations app is supported in QRadar V7.2.8.4 and later. Administrators can use the QRadar Operations app to track user activities, offense details, searches, and other user information.

The QRadar Operations app is supported on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Important:
If you are using QRadar V7.2.8.4, after you install the app, you must enable User Readable Audit Log Messages for Searches by completing the following steps:
  1. Click Admin > System Settings > Advanced.
  2. In the Ariel Database Settings pane, enable User Readable Audit Log Messages for Searches and click Save.

System Overview dashboard

When you click the Operations tab, the System Overview dashboard opens. The dashboard includes a time series graph, which pinpoints issues and events of interest.

Click any or all of the data insights to view them on the graph. For example, you can click EPS to view the data on the graph only for events per second (EPS). For a broader overview of data, select all of the insights.

Use the Filter box to filter your data based on criteria that you want to see. You can filter on any content that you see in the app, such as offenses, reference data, user, and report names.
