To send 3COM Switch 8800 events to QRadar, complete the
following steps:
- If automatic updates are not enabled, download and install the most recent version of
the following RPMs from the IBM Support Website
(https://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral) onto your QRadar
Console:
- Protocol Common RPM
- DSM Common RPM
- 3COM Switch 8800 DSM RPM
- Configure each 3COM Switch 8800 instance to communicate with QRadar.
- If QRadar does not
automatically discover the DSM, create a log source on the QRadar Console for
each 3COM Switch 8800 instance. Configure all the required parameters, and use the
following table for specific values:
