System health

The System Health check examines your QRadar® system for events that are related to the health of your QRadar system.

System Health checks your QRadar system for events with the following low-level categories:
  • Performance Degradation (8087)
  • System Failure (8005)
  • System Error (8007)
System Health also checks for the following events:
  • 38750051 - Maximum total offenses reached
  • 38750055 - Out of memory error and erroneous application restarted
  • 38750056 - Long transactions for a managed process
  • 38750057 - Protocol source configuration incorrect
  • 38750073 - Threshold crossed
  • 38750076 - Disk usage exceeded warning threshold
  • 38750083 - Infrastructure component is corrupted or did not start
  • 38750004 - Application ran out of memory
  • 38750038 - Disk Sentry: Disk Usage Exceeded Max Threshold
  • 38750092 - Disk Sentry has detected that one or more storage partitions are not accessible
  • 38750110 - Disk Failure: Hardware Monitoring has determined that a disk is in failed state
  • 38750111 - Predictive Disk Failure: Hardware Monitoring has determined that a disk is in predictive failed state

To pass the System Health check, your QRadar system should not have more than 4 of these events within the last 24 hours. If you have more than 4 of these events, your QRadar system is experiencing performance and resource problems.
