Downloading IBM QRadar SOAR Plug-in app log and configuration files

New in 5.0 IBM® QRadar® SOAR Plug-in log files contain detailed information about your deployment. They provide important information when you are trying to resolve issues and might be required if you contact IBM Support.

About this task

To include more detailed information in the log files, select the Enable loglevel DEBUG option when you configure the app. For more information, see Configuring the QRadar SOAR Plug-in app.

You can continue to use the app while the log files are being collected.

If the system is actively collecting log files, you can't begin a new collection request. Cancel the active collection process and restart it.


  1. On the navigation menu (), click Admin.
  2. In the IBM QRadar SOAR Plug-in section, click Configuration.
  3. On the Status tab, under Download Logs and Config Files, click Download.

    The download starts automatically.


The compressed file (Logs_and_Config_files_<date_time>.zip) is available in the download location on your computer.
