Configuring the QRadar Advisor with Watson app with the Configuration Wizard

Before you can use the QRadar® Advisor with Watson app, you must configure settings with the Configuration Wizard.

Attention: Before you configure the QRadar Advisor with Watson app, make sure you define your network hierarchy in your QRadar system. To make sure your intranet IP addresses are not sent to the cloud for investigations, configure your QRadar system so that it understands your network addresses. For more information on defining your network hierarchy, see Network Hierarchy.
Note: Because QRadar Advisor with Watson does not use the X-Force® Premium QRadar rules, you do not need to enable the IBM® X-Force rules. QRadar Advisor with Watson uses only the advanced search functions that the X-Force Premium feed creates.
Complete the following required setup procedures:
  • Accept the license terms
  • Configure a secure proxy server for the QRadar Advisor with Watson app.
  • Submit an IBM X-Force Exchange authorization key for the QRadar Advisor with Watson app.
  • Create authorized service tokens for the QRadar Advisor with Watson app.
  • Map custom properties from QRadar to the QRadar Advisor with Watson app property names.
  • Configure optional settings.
