Configuring automatic update settings

You can customize your configuration to enable applications to update automatically. By automatically updating the application, you don’t need to manually check for updates or install applications manually. This saves time and effort and allows you to focus on other tasks.

Before you begin

Complete the following steps before configuring the auto-update feature:

  1. Install the QRadar SIM Notification DSM interim fix.

Note: If WAU (Auto-update) is enabled on the box, then QRadar® SIM Notification DSM interim fix is installed automatically.
  2. Download and install IBM® QRadar Baseline Maintenance Content Extension from IBM Security App Exchange (https://exchange.xforce.ibmcloud.com/hub/extension/c9a245e3b2cbc1455015e51f8903dbfc). You must have an IBM ID to access the IBM Security App Exchange.
  3. Ensure that the SEC Token and XFE profile are configured. For more information, see Configuring the IBM QRadar Hub app.

Procedure

  1. Click the Hub app icon (Assistant app icon), and then click Applications.
