Uninstalling WinCollect 10

You can uninstall WinCollect 10 by using the command line, the Control Panel, or the Windows Start Menu.

Uninstalling WinCollect 10 using the command prompt

You can uninstall WinCollect 10 using the command prompt.

Procedure

  1. From the desktop, select Start > Run and click OK.
  2. If you want to remove all files, type the following command:
    msiexec /x {unique-wincollect-10-build-GUID} REMOVE_ALL_FILES=True /qn
    
    
  3. If you want to remove just the WinCollect application, and not configuration files, stored events, and bookmarks, type the following command:
    msiexec /x {unique-wincollect-10-build-GUID} REMOVE_ALL_FILES=False /qn
    
    
    Note: You can find the {unique-wincollect-10-build-GUID} in the following Windows registry:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
    IBM WinCollect 10 data corresponds to the DisplayName attribute.

Uninstalling WinCollect 10 using the Control Panel

You can use the Control Panel to uninstall WinCollect 10.

Procedure

  1. Open the Control Panel and select Programs > Uninstall a program.
  2. Select IBM WinCollect 10.
  3. Right-click and select Uninstall.

You can uninstall WinCollect 10 using the link in the Start menu.

Procedure

  1. Click the Start menu and go to IBM WinCollect 10.
  2. Right-click and select Uninstall IBM WinCollect 10.
