Managing users and user groups

Use the Users and Groups tab of the Repositories view to create and manage secured repository users or user groups.

Procedure

  1. In the Repositories view, click the secured repository that you want to work with.
  2. Switch to the Users and Groups tab. Each user that can access the selected repository is listed in the Users list and each group of users is listed in the Groups list.
  3. To create a user or a group, click Create a Repository User or Create a Repository Group. For more information, see Creating a repository user and Creating a repository group.
  4. To change the password of an existing user, right-click that user and select Set Password from the menu.
  5. To assign a user or a group different security permission levels and control their access to workspaces and objects that they store, follow the instructions in Assigning users and groups permission to use workspaces and data sources.
  6. Click Finish.
