Using the Memory Usage view

Use the Memory Usage view to monitor and manage the QMF Server memory usage. The Memory Usage view incorporates a Garbage Collector function that reclaims memory occupied by objects that are no longer being used by the application. By running the Garbage Collector function you can improve the application performance.

To access the Memory Usage view, click View > Memory Usage.

The memory usage information is displayed in the table, which is updated every 5 seconds. When there is less than 20% of available memory left, the text in the corresponding table cell turns red. To refresh the table, click Refresh.

To run the Garbage Collector function, click Run Garbage Collector.
