Horizontal scaling for multi-node deployment is not configured properly

Symptoms

When errors are enabled in Output window and you access the URL for:

QMF for WebSphere® from either /admin or /user, or
QMF Server from /server ,

following message is displayed in the Output window:

[WARNING!!] Horizontal scaling for multi-node deployment is not configured properly. Please refer to the documentation for details on how to deploy horizontal scaling for multi-node.

Causes

JGroups is not correctly configured or UDP is not supported in the environment.

QMF for WebSphere, QMF Server

Resolving the problem

If you are using default configuration for JGroups, switch to TCP configuration. For more information on how to use TCP configuration, see Configuring TCP protocol. If the issue still occurs, contact customer support.
