Creating a user
You must define each user that will be allowed to access a repository that has been assigned the Internal security option.

Procedure
- Open the New Repository User window, by expanding the repository tree to the Users and Groups branch, then right-click Users, select New > User
- Specify the ID that the user will use to connect to the repository in the User name field.
- Specify the user's full name in the Full name field.
- Specify the password for the user name in the Password field.
- Retype the password for the user name in the Confirm password field.
- Optionally, you can type a description of the user in the Description field. This description is displayed with the user's properties.
- To automatically create a default home workspace for the user, select the Has a home workspace check box.
- Add the new user to a group by using the Group Membership check boxes. Each group that you have created is listed. You can select one or more group check boxes. The user will be added to each group whose check box is selected. If the group that you want to add the user to is not listed, you must define the group.
- Click Finish. The user identity is created and will be allowed to access the repository. You will repeat this process for each new user that will have access to the repository. After specifying the users and groups that can access the repository, the next step is to assign them permission to use repository objects.
