Setting QMF Data Service preferences

Use the QMF Data Service option in the Preference window to configure TLS. Preferences allow you to customize several IBM® Db2® QMF Data Service settings.

About this task

To set the QMF Data Service preferences, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. From the main menu, click View > Preferences > QMF Data Service. The General setting for the QMF Data Service window opens.
  2. In the Connection timeout (secs) box, enter the number of seconds to wait before a server connection is determined to be unsuccessful. The default setting is 30.
  3. In the Operation timeout (secs) box, enter the number of seconds to wait before determining that the operation is unsuccessful. The default setting is 10.
  4. Select the Shift password to the upper-case check box when the logon credentials use uppercase characters for JDBC driver and HTTP connections. This setting is enabled by default.
  5. Click Apply.
  6. Click Ok.
