Assigning users to resource limits groups

Once assigned, what each user can do using QMF for Workstation and QMF for WebSphere® is dictated by the resource limits group schedule. All users who are not assigned to a resource limits group are automatically included in the default resource limits group Default. The Default resource limits group schedule has no restrictions.

In order to assign a user to a resource limits group, you must first specify information that defines the user to QMF for Workstation and QMF for WebSphere. The process of defining users to the applications and then assigning them to a resource limits group varies slightly depending on the resource limits provider that was selected for the data source.
