Editing an extended catalog's properties

You can change the name or CCSID properties of an extended QMF catalog. You can also change the CCSID property of the default QMF catalog.

About this task

To edit the properties of an extended or default QMF catalog:

Procedure

  1. Open the Edit Catalog window.
  2. Specify a new name for the extended catalog in the Name field. You can not change the name of the Default QMF catalog.
  3. Select a new CCSID code page for the extended catalog from the CCSID list. You can change the CCSID of the Default QMF catalog.
  4. Click OK. The changes to the QMF catalog: property values are saved.
