Specifying border properties for dialog templates

You can specify border properties for a data template to customize its view.

To specify border properties:

Procedure

  1. In the New Dialog Template Wizard, select Border from the Properties list.
  2. In the Color field, specify the color for the window borders. Use the ellipsis (…) button to select a color from the palette.
  3. Move the Transparency slider to set the transparency for the border color.
  4. Move the Width slider or enter a particular value to specify the width of the border.
    Tip: You can customize the units of measure for borders by selecting a unit from the list of available ones.
  5. In the Top Border Radius area, you can specify the fillet for the top border of the window. Move the Top left slider to set the fillet that you want to apply.
  6. If you want to specify the fillet for the top right border separately, select the Set top right border radius check box and move the Top right slider.
  7. In the Bottom Border Radius area, you can specify the fillet for the bottom border of the window. Move the Bottom left slider to set the fillet that you want to apply.
  8. If you want to specify the fillet for the lower right border separately, select the Set bottom right border radius check box and move the Bottom right slider.
  9. Click Finish to save the changes for this dialog template and close the dialog template window.
