Invalidating virtual table and JavaScript table cache manually

You can manually invalidate the cache of a virtual or JavaScript table to make sure that you work with the most current data.

To manually invalidate the cache of a virtual or JavaScript table, complete the following steps:

Procedure

  1. From the Repositories or Repository Explorer view, right-click the virtual or JavaScript table whose cache you want to invalidate and select Properties from the menu.
  2. From the Repositories or Repository Explorer view, right-click the virtual or JavaScript table whose cache you want to invalidate and select Properties from the menu.
  3. In the Properties window, select Cache Settings.
  4. Click to invalidate the table cache manually.
    Note: Make sure that the cache of the table that you work with is not empty or expired. Otherwise, the button is not available.
