Editing flowchart procedures
You can edit existing procedure commands in the Procedure Designer.
About this task
To edit a flowchart procedure:
Procedure
- Open the procedure that you want to edit on the Design tab.
- Double-click the command that you want to edit. The Edit Command wizard opens.
- Add the changes that you want to apply to the command.
Tip: To replace any command with a new one, use the Edit Command wizard.
- To add a command before or after an existing command, drag
it from the Palette to the command before or
after the existing command.
- Specify the command position on the first page of the Add Command wizard. Click Next
- On the second page of the wizard, specify the command and its parameters. Click Finish.
- You can also modify the appearance of the procedure flowchart
by doing the following actions:
- To add all commands one after another by default, right-click the Design tab and select Auto Layout.
- To add commands in the custom order, right-click the Design tab and clear Auto Layout.
- To edit the location of the procedure block, drag it to a new position or right-click the block and select the Up and Down items.
- To edit the alignment of the procedure blocks, right-click the required block, select Align, and specify the alignment that you want to apply to the current block.
- To match the procedure blocks by height or width, right-click the block, select Match, and specify the option that you want to apply to the current block.
