Managing resource limits

Resource limits help you manage resource consumption on a database data source. By specifying resource limits you can control the actions a user can perform and implement limits on the resources a user can consume when they access the data source using QMF.

Resource limits can be applied globally to data sources or they can be applied to individual queries that access any data source. Data source and query resource limits allow you to control resource consumption on a per user, group, day of the week, or time of day basis.
