Building a selection list of objects

To build a selection list of QMF objects from the Object Manager panel, you must enter values in the following fields:

Enter L (for list).

Object Owner

Enter the owner of the object you want to list. You can use a percent sign (%) or an underscore (_) as wildcard characters in the owner to select objects from multiple owners.

Object Name

Enter the name of the object you want to list. You can use a percent sign (%) or an underscore (_) as wildcard characters in the name to select multiple objects. If you leave this field blank, a percent sign (%) is used as a default.

Object Type

Enter Q, P, F or A to list queries, procedures, forms, or analytics only. For all object types, enter a percent sign (%). If you leave this field blank, a percent sign (%) is used as a default.

Additional List Filtering?

Enter Y to further qualify the objects to include in the selection list. If further qualification is requested, the List Filter Specification panel is displayed. Enter N to bypass additional list filtering. See Specifying additional filtering for object list for more information on filtering lists.

Specify Sort Order?

Enter Y to request whether or not the selection list is sorted according to additional sort options. If sorting is requested, the Sort Order Specification panel is displayed. Enter N to bypass specifying sort options. N is the default. See Specifying sort options for object list for more information on sort options.

Drop Confirmation?

Enter Y to request drop confirmations or N to suppress them. This value is carried forward to all actions performed from the selection list. If this flag is left blank, Y is used as a default.
