Dropping an object
You can drop a QMF object or multiple objects (with the same owner) from a selection list or from the Object Manager panel. Ad hoc objects (*ADHOC) cannot be dropped.

- Enter the owner of the object. No wildcard characters are allowed.
- Object Name
- Enter the name of the object. You can use a percent sign (%) or an underscore (_) as wildcard characters in the name to copy multiple objects. If you leave this field blank, a percent sign (%) is used as a default.
- Object Type
- Enter
Q,P,F, orAto drop queries, procedures, forms, or analytics only. For all object types, enter a percent sign (%). If you leave this field blank, a percent sign (%) is used as a default. - Drop Confirmation?
- Enter
Yto request a drop confirmation panel orNto suppress one. If this flag is left blank,Yis used as a default.
To drop a QMF object
from the Object Manager Selection List panel, enter a value in the
following field:

The number of objects to be dropped is shown on the Object Drop Confirmation panel.

From the Object Drop Confirmation panel:
- If you press Enter, the QMF objects identified on the panel are dropped from the database, the HPO Activity Log is updated, and you return to the previous panel.
- If you press PF3, the drop command is ignored, the QMF objects remain in the database, and you return to the previous panel.
