Overview

IBM® Open Enterprise SDK for Python is an industry-standard Python interpreter for IBM Z®. It brings a powerful framework for building fast and scalable applications to the z/OS® platform. IBM Open Enterprise SDK for Python 3.13 is the follow-on release to Open Enterprise SDK for Python 3.12 and is based on the open-source Python 3.13 community release. It includes a number of enhancements.

Open Enterprise SDK for Python is now enabled in the IBM z/OS Container Platform to streamline Python deployment, scalability, and management in a containerized environment.
