Personal settings

The Personal settings tab enables you to set general preferences, specify edit item screen settings, locale and date/time settings, and change the password.

Left pane > Settings > Personal settings tab


The Personal settings tab contains the following settings.
Table 1. General preferences
Set landing page Select and specify an appropriate system page or dashboard as the default home page.
Generate report entries limit Select an appropriate value from the drop-down list to specify the maximum number of entries in a report.
Attribute tab column layout Select number of columns that can be displayed in the Attribute tab.
Enable My recent updates widget Select to enable My recent updates widget throughout the application.
Entries per page GAAdd Four custom values that should be displayed in the Entries per page drop-down list across the application. The permissible range is an integer between 30 to 1000.
Preview pagination dropdown GACheck the pagination drop-down list with the custom values you added in the Entries per page field.

Grouping multi-occurring attributes per page Select an appropriate value from the drop-down list to specify the number of grouping multi-occurring attributes per page.
Relationship visualization diagram tab based on Specify whether the Relationship visualization diagram tab is based on attribute or catalog.
Table 3. Locale and date/time
Locale for UI Select the language that you want the user interface to display. The default value is English.
Locale for item and category Select the language that you want the item and category data to display. The default value is NONE.
Time zone Select the time zone that you want the user interface to display.
Select input/output format Select a date and time format from the following list:
  • dd-MMM-yyyy
  • yyyy-MM-dd
  • dd-MMM-yyyy HH:mm
  • M/d/yy h:mm a (default)
  • MM-dd-yyyy HH:mm:ss
  • dd-MMM-yyyy HH:mm:ss
  • yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss
Specify input/output format Specify your preference for the date and time format from the following list:
  • dd/MM/yyyy
  • MM-yy-dd
  • yyyy-dd-MM
  • MMM-dd-yyyy
  • MMM-dd-yy
  • yy-MM-dd
  • yy-MMM-dd
  • MMMM-dd-yyyy
Locales applicable for specs Select an available locale for specs.
Table 4. Reset state maintenance
Reset state maintenance Select the screens for which you want to reset the state maintenance, and click Save.

You can perform this action for the following pages (screens).

  • Data explorer
  • Free text search page
  • Multi-edit page of a Collaboration area
  • Search page
  • Single-edit page
Table 5. Digital asset management
URL The URL of the Persona-based UI server.
Credentials
Same as DAM credentials Select to use existing Digital Assets Management credentials.
User ID Enter the credentials for accessing the DAM repository.
Password Enter the password for accessing the DAM repository. Select Show Password to see the password.
Table 6. Password
New Password Specify a new password.
Confirm Password Reenter the new password to confirm. Click Show password to see the password.
Important: If you have changed the password by using the Admin UI, you must log out of the current Persona-based UI session, and then re-login by using the new password.
Important: If you are a new Digital Asset Manager user, who has 2 Persona-based UI sessions open across 2 tabs in the same Browser, you need to follow these steps to successfully use a new password.
  1. Go to the Left pane > Settings > Application settings section.
  2. Enable the Digital Asset Management (DAM) feature by specifying the settings in the Digital asset management section.
  3. Save the Digital asset management settings.
  4. Now, you can change the password that you have specified in the Step 2.
  5. Login to the Persona-based UI by using the new password.
