Viewing relationships

You can view relationships between items in the Linked Items and Related Items tabs in the single-edit screen. The Linked Items tab shows the items that link to the given item. The Related Items tab shows the relationships of the current given item.

Linked items

The Linked Items tab displays the items that link to this item using link attributes. The link attribute exists on the items that are shown in the tab and the attributes point to this item as the target of the link. Within this tab, you can view the catalog of the source item of the link, the primary key of the linked item, and the display name of the linked item. You can also open any of the linked items in a single-edit popup screen to view more details about that item.

Related items

The Related Items tab displays the items that the current item is related to through the relationship type attribute. The relationship attribute exists on the current item. Within this tab, you can view the catalog of the related item, the relationship (which is the name of the relationship attribute), the primary key, and the display name of the related item. You can also open any of the related items in a single-edit popup screen to view more details about that item.
Consider the following limitations with viewing the related items:
  • Any relationships that have just been set in the Attributes tab but not yet saved in the item, will not show up in the Related Items tab.
